NEW TICKET FOR IJEN
The price of the ticket in Ijen and other national park is increasing. Its getting some national park getting lower, while another getting more expensive. For a very long time the price of the ticket has no change. The price for all national park in Java for more than 15 years are the same, but last 30th October 2024 the government decide to re evaluate it. The result, some of the national park such Ijen is getting more expensive.
HOW MUCH THE TICKET NOW
IJEN is one of the most visited natural park visited by foreign tourist in Java. More people come every year. They have to pay the foreign ticket which is the price different between weekday and weekend, but its all in the past. Now the ticket between weekdays and weekend are the same.
The old price was Idr 100.000 in the weekdays and Idr 150.000 in the weekend or naional holidays. The price now become idr 150.000 in the weekdays and in the weekend and national holidays.
The ticket getting the same price between weekdays and weekend, even national holiday are the same. This regulation start from 30th October 2024. The new price ticket also aplly in other national park such as BROMO AND MENJANGAN ISLAND (West Bali National Park)
HOW TO BUY THE TICKET
Ijen tour program normally start at midnight/12 pm. we depart to ijen area for around 1 hour from the hotel in Banyuwangi city and around 2 hours from hotels in Bondowoso city. For the ticket you can buy online. or if you book the tour from us, we will buy the ticket for you. The regulation to buy the ticket, you must have copy of your pasport and you must have recomendation/medical letter from nearby clinic stated that you are healty for climbing mount Ojen. our team will drive you to the clinic for the medical check.
HOW MUCH IS THE MEDICAL CHECK
The regulation about medical check only recently added, because some tourist pass away. The reason is they have high blood pressure and heart desease, also the have lung desease and because of that, the ranger decide need to make sure only healty people go to minimlize the accident.
The price for medical check up is cheap. Normally the range is around Idr 30.000 – 45.000, its depend where is the location you do for the check up. The result the written in the paper and the copy of your pasport and the paper from the clinic that we will use to buy the ticket. For the ticket, we will buy online, but the payment is in Ijen area. its important for us to prepare all the document in hotel area because no clinic around ijen area.
